WHAT IS PLAYGROUP NETWORK?

Playgroup Network is a National Educational Charity which is committed to supporting its members with advice, news and training as well as access to other professional bodies in the field of Early Years Care & Education.

The Playgroup Centre is the central base for Playgroup Network Cleveland, coordinating the services offered to member groups, learners and other users of our service.

• Advice on constitutions, committees, employment issue, legislation and regulations, Ofsted etc.

• Arranging and delivering conferences, seminars and workshops

• Training programme

• Resource shop of play materials

• Administration of subsidies for families accessing playgroups through funding families on low incomes (Middlesbrough & Redcar & Cleveland Groups only)

• Administration of grants to support children with special needs

• Loan Scheme of play equipment (members only)

• Library of books for adults and children

• Payroll Service

• CRB's - Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure Applications

• Advisory visits to new and existing groups

• Production and sale of resource materials including accident book, accounts book, registers and Early Years Foundation Stage Resource File
